SAN Commander Fibre Channel Tester
SAN
Commander is unlike any other product on the market. Never
before have product developers had the capability to saturate
their products with a maximum load and demonstrate continued
operation even under the most extreme conditions. Integrators,
VARs, Solution Providers, and SAN Software Vendors now have
the ability to saturate SANs and know with certainty if and
where performance bottlenecks will occur. SAN Commander puts
theory into practice by generating streams of data at nearly
100% of the technology's theoretical maximum. But SAN Commander
goes far beyond simply generating data. It can simulate the
effect of adding devices into a deployed topology, verify
how a device responds to being overloaded, and assist in benchmarking
and supporting product claims. It is the ideal solution for
scheduled throughput verification and emergency fault isolation.
And you get all of this at a price per port unmatched in the
industry.
Three
powerful tools within a single test port
Add EAGLE software to a SAN Commander port and you have the
most versatile wire-speed test solution in the industry. You
have the option of purchasing EAGLE licenses on a port basis,
adding this capability to only the desired ports. A SAN Commander
port with EAGLE software has three powerful capabilities -
the ability to perform wire-speed testing, low-level testing,
and SANmark qualification.
Portable
and configurable to your specific needs
SAN Commander is a compact standalone test system
with an intuitive software application. It is available in
either a portable desktop configuration ideal for the lab,
marketing, or field testing, or in a rack-mount configuration
for permanent installation in either the lab or the SAN. Multiple
Fibre Channel ports are configurable to 1- or 2-Gbps, supporting
point-to-point and arbitrated loop topologies. SAN Commander's
comprehensive test capabilities are accessible to multiple
users at remote locations on the network via a 10/100 Base-T
Ethernet® port. SAN Commander offers a configuration to
fit your budget and your needs with the option to add more
ports as your storage needs grow.
