Broadband Extended Reach 10 Gb/s (KTM DC712-XX)
The KTM DC712-XX product line provides extended-reach, 10
Gb/s optical fiber transmission. It nominally operates nominally at 10 Gb/s
serial data rates (SONET/SDH, Ethernet, Fiber Channel) and provide high
dispersion tolerance of up to ±3200 ps/nm. This provides significant
transmission benefits while conforming to the standard 300-pin
Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) module and Optical Internetworking Forum
(OIF) OIF-SFI4-01.1 specifications.
These products include
transponder designs ranging from single-channel applications to
ultra-long haul DWDM networking, all incorporating Finisar's unique
double-reach transmission technology.
The KTM DC712-XX (formerly Sydney) is a broadband tunable extended-reach DWDM
transponder based on a L-band tunable laser with a minimum
tuning range of 36 nm and an APD receiver.
