100GHz DWDM 4(8) Channels Mux/DeMux Plug-in Module
The Finisar FWSFMDMUXDwxxyy DWDM Plug-in module is a passive optical
demultiplexer designed for metro access applications that represent the
state of the art in fiber optics design. The FWSFMDMUXDwxxyy DWDM
Plug-in Module multiplexs and demultiplexes four/eight DWDM wavelengths
of 100GHz channel spacing from a fiber circuit. Finisar's design allows
the creation of cost-effective network traffic rings or point-to-point
links.
The FWSFMDMUXDwxxyy DWDM Plug-in Module plugs into one
half of a 1RU, 19" rack mount chassis for simple installation and
modularity. This Chassis based system allows a network equipment
manufacturer to add WDM capability to any existing network device that
supports GBIC interfaces.
